Welcome to the Plot
Cedar Plot Homestead sits on twelve acres outside Concrete, Washington, where we've spent the last sixteen years figuring out what actually grows well here — and helping other people figure out the same thing on their own land, however small it is.
We started as a two-person operation growing cedar seedlings for windbreaks and property lines. Somewhere along the way, neighbors started asking us to help plan their garden plots too — where to put the raised beds, how to deal with the clay soil, which native shrubs would actually survive the deer. We said yes enough times that it became half the business.
